Kimberly Cheatham is a native of South Carolina. She received her formal cosmetology training while in high school and became a licensed cosmetologist at the age of 18. Inspired by her grandfather, who owned a barbershop and was a pillar of the community, she knew early on that the beauty industry was her calling.

In 2008, she founded Kreative Kimistry Hair Salon in Aiken, South Carolina, before relocating to Lakeland, Florida, in 2014. She has since returned to her home state, bringing years of expertise, advanced training, and a passion for serving the Anderson community.

Kimberly's work has been featured on The Steve Harvey Show, HuffPost, The Real, BuzzFeed, and Cosmopolitan, among other national media outlets. In 2015, she was named Hairstylist of the Year by the Lakeland Fashion Council and earned the honor again in 2019 from The Epic Polk Experience. Throughout her career, she has styled celebrities including Sevyn Streeter and child supermodel April Star and has collaborated with the international beauty brand Allusions by Alekay.

Beyond the salon, Kimberly is a dedicated community leader and philanthropist. She has supported organizations such as Pace Center for Girls, Polk Girls Rock, Girls Inc., and numerous initiatives that empower women and young girls.

In 2026, Kimberly expanded her community impact by joining the Pink Palmetto Project, an initiative dedicated to increasing breast cancer awareness and promoting early detection. Through this partnership, she created and hosted the GLOW Up Dinner, a signature initiative that honors cancer survivors with an evening of celebration, encouragement, wellness, and empowerment. The event reflects her belief that beauty extends beyond appearance it is about restoring confidence, fostering hope, and building community.

Kimberly believes she is fulfilling her purpose through civic engagement and by helping women realize that no dream is beyond their reach. Through hard work, dedication, compassion, and above all, faith in God, she strives to inspire others to embrace their strength and live with purpose.
